Dress Code: Newsome Park Elementary School

For boys and girls:

• ALL shirts - polo, turtleneck or traditional collared shirts - must be solid colors
• Sweaters or sweatshirts - solid color with collared shirt underneath
• Shoes - athletic shoes or soft casual shoes suitable for daily PE
• Length of shorts, dresses and skirts determined by fingertip rule
• Any Newsome Park school logo clothing is acceptable.

Boys:

• ALL pants or shorts must be solid colors. Belts must be worn if pants have belt loops (2^nd grade and up).

Girls:

• ALL pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, skorts, jumpers must be solid colors.

• Shirt tails must be tucked in.
• Coats will not be worn indoors.
• Denim pants/shorts of any color will not be allowed.
• Jogging pants/shorts, sweat suits, and nylon pants/shirts will not be allowed.
• Baggy or oversized clothing will not be allowed.
• Form-fitting pants are not allowed.
