21 To Watch is a NNPS program that recognizes and honors movers and shakers who champion 21st-century initiatives in their workplace. These individuals will have an opportunity to advise district administrators and work on special projects designed to move the district forward.

At Newport News Public Schools, people are our most valued resource. NNPS has launched "21 to Watch," a program that recognizes and honors movers and shakers who champion 21st-century initiatives in the workplace. These individuals have proven they have what it takes to inspire their colleagues, make their workplaces safer and smarter, and advance our Academic Agenda in support our district's goal of graduating college, career, and citizen-ready students.
Our 21 to Watch truly embody the following 21st century skills and practices. These 21 innovators will meet in quarterly "think tanks" to collaborate, innovate and for incubation project planning.
